Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) issued the release date for the examination notice of Indian Forest Service Examination, 2015 and Civil Services Examination, 2015.

Two-thirds of the strength of every cadre is filled directly by IFS officers and the remaining are promoted from the respective states cadre officers.

(b) The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable:-. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.
